The Energy Top Plus is a top mounted damper that simultaneously serves as a chimney cap with the added protection of a built in Stainless Steel Cap. Not only does this damper do everything that the Energy Top does, it even seals out rain, snow, and sleet while sealing in your heat AND air conditioning to save you even more money.

Installation

Energy Tops can be installed by homeowners who feel comfortable being on the roof. However it is highly recommended to use the services of a qualified chimney sweep who can also inspect your chimney and provide other valuable home safety services.

Energy Tops may be used on round factory-built chimneys venting a fireplace. An RS Adapter for solid-pack chimney or a RS Adapter for air-cooled chimney is available to make this transition. May affect the fireplace listing. Check with fireplace manufacturer before.
